Join us for a very special First Friday.  Colis Taylor will demonstrate the art of journaling using creative touches to enhance words.  Photos, color, special papers and ephemera add a special dimension to journaling.  Corlis will have samples with her and will inspire you to journal outside the box.

Join us First Friday as we celebrate the work of over 40 Alaskan artisans.  Featured artists in the store for the evening will be Sue Dranchak, Margo Klass, Pauline Lian and Nicole Stellon O’Donnell.  Sue will display original acrylic paintings as well as prints and cards; Margo will showcase her handmade birch books; Pauline will share selections of small compositions of pressed botanical flowers, and Nicole will read from her recently published book of poetry, Steam Laundry.

Join us First Friday as we feature guest artist Connie Stricks with her handcrafted greeting cards.  Hand painted, handcrafted, and one of a kind, these cards provide you with original art at reasonable prices.  Connie’s cards are beautiful framed or for their intended use in correspondence.  Come by and talk with her about what inspires her and choose from a wide selection.  We’ll serve refreshments and have a door prize drawing.
