This very special event features Fairbanks guest artists Peggy Shumaker, Melina Draper, Frank Soos and Margo Klass.  Come hear the writers read selections from their works. Margo Klass will talk about her artisitic experience and introduce several of her gallery pieces which are brand new to the Fairbanks community.  Books will be available for purchase and signings, and the artists will be available for informal discussion.  As usual, we’ll have refreshments and a door prize drawing.

Peggy Shumaker’s latest book is a memoir, Just Breathe Normally.  Melina Draper collaborated with her mother on Place of Origin, a tidy volume of poetry which merges mother and daughter talents across long distances.  Frank Soos and Margo Klass collaborated on their latest venture, Double Moon.  The book features artwork and narrative profound and imaginative.
